Samsung Galaxy J6 Review:Wonderful Feautures at a Reasonable Price

Samsung is recently trying to regain the mid-range sector of the smartphone market from the Chinese OEMs that has been dominating. This year has been.marked by the release of a number of mid-range smartphones from the stable of the Japanese smartphone maker. Design and Display

If there is anything apparent in the way the Samsung Galaxy J6 looks, that will be the modern build and nice ergonomics. The only downside to this being the plastic body build which is not up to par with the metal and even glass some of its competition have. The smartphone sports a compact build which is shown in its shrewd use of bezels. Like the others in the J-series, the speaker is at the side and diminishing audio jack feature retained.
Samsung does well here to extend the courtesy of its Infinity display often reserved for its premium smartphones to the mid-range J-series. With a nice end to end display, the Samsung Galaxy J6 is impressive save for its low resolution. That being 1480 X 720 pixels on a 5.6-inch screen which is surprisingly quite colourful mostly because of the AMOLED screen.

Battery and Camera

Much like the other J-series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J6 maintains an average stance when it comes to battery power. There’s no more than a 3, 000mAh battery on it which should take you through the day on full charge. On the downside, the smartphone unlike some of its competition doesn’t have fast charge.
The cameras on the smartphone are kept singular albeit the dual trend going about. You’ve got a 13MP sensor on the rear while the front has an 8MP camera with flash in case of low light conditions. Simple as it is, the set up delivers colourful pictures in well lit environment.

Hardware and Software

At the core of things, you will find Samsung’s Octa-core processor running things as well as other nice mid-range techs. The Exynos 7870 chipset is paired with a Mali-T830 GPU, both of which makes sure that you enjoy a smooth experience on the device. Be advised, intensive use will certainly push out some lags at the long run.
There are two options available in terms of storage and RAM, you have the 3GB RAM paired with 32GB storage space while the other has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. You could expand the storage up to 256GB and there is also Android 8.0 Oreo running on it.

How much does Samsung J6 Cost

The 3GB variant is available for around #70, 000 but you can get it at mouthwatering price on Jumia here
